The layout is based on the Tyrol area in central Austria. The idea for the layout came from some outstanding photographs I discovered on the Internet and with some additional studying the layout configuration took shape.

The village of Hammanich is situated close to the station which is also being used the as a loading point for a local quarry which is being run by a local family.

Due to its scenic beauty the area is also being visited by a great number of tourists, hikers, and in the winter skiers.

The railway operations are contemporary privatised Narrow Gauge line and are partly sound equipped.

We hope you enjoy this excursion into what is a very exciting country with outstanding natural beauty and a people as friendly as it gets.

The layout is making use of two previously built baseboards of high quality and has used the track layout as it was however the track is now completely new and the points are electrically operated. The benefit of this approach is that the construction time was reduced compared to starting from scratch.

The name of the layout translates as: We haven’t got …. Which we all have heard a lot in this post pandemic time.
